As you might know, I'm currently suing the Utah Legislature over their refusal to issue me a press credential to cover the Capitol.

A federal judge dismissed the lawsuit in September.

We just filed an appeal with the 10th Circuit in Denver.

Let's break down some of the key arguments 🧵

The GOP keeps hunting for a post‑Trump savior. Spencer Cox isn’t it. Three reasons: MAGA distrust, Utah’s small stage, and a civility brand that doesn’t win primaries. WaPo says “maybe.” The base says “nope.”

LOL, no.

Ranking 2028 presidential contenders, the @washingtonpost.com includes Utah Gov. Spencer Cox.

The number of Republican presidential primary voters who have said, "Utah Gov. Spencer Cox would make a good president," could hold a meeting in a broom closet.

This is just patently dishonest from Sen. Curtis.

Democrats aren’t in charge of anything. It’s not on them to rescue Republicans from this mess.

It’s the GOP who have the burden of trying to govern responsibly. They’re not doing that.
Sen. John Curtis said Democrats don't have an "exit plan" for ending what is now the longest government shutdown in history, and said he encourages Trump to fully pay SNAP food benefits while contingency funds last. www.ksl.com/article/5140...

If there's a shakeup in the leadership at Heritage, there's a prominent Utah Republican who I think would love the job.

Utah has cut income taxes by nearly a billion dollars in the last four years. The vast majority of those tax cuts go to the wealthiest Utahns.

Those tax cuts were paid for using money that could have gone toward funding schools.
