Eurostar has a new (I think) option in their Snap booking platform: unallocated seats on their Paris-Brussels and Brussels-Amsterdam services. A bit more expensive than their Snap fares, but you do know the train you're assigned.

Another step forward: @raileurope now offers Interrail & Eurail passholder reservations on Spanish Railways. No booking fee. If you've a 1st class pass they also sell the AVE Premium reservation where an extra €13.50 gets you a meal, wine, lounge access. www.seat61.com/interrail-an...

Einde van de Zon-Thalys is een trieste mijlpaal: vanuit Nederland geen treinen naar Frankrijk zuidelijker dan Parijs. Was ideaal voor een treinreis naar Spanje: in theorie kon je met één overstap in Valence TGV Barcelona bereiken (of eigenlijk leuker met overnachting in Marseille of Avignon)

Según mis informes y las.consultas recabadas en ADIF y Renfe no parece que vaya a ser así, para este verano me dicen, es cierto que no es oficial ni puedo asegurar al 100x100, que el tren llegará a Canfranc. Se está haciendo una obra histórica de más de 175 millones de inversión.

Las obras del Canfranero se alargarán por lo menos 12 meses más. Si no, Renfe no habría adjudicado servicio de bus substitutorio.

Ik had nog één interrail-reisdag over, dus ga met een omweg richting Brussel. Mijn eerste keer met de drielandentrein naar Luik!

Vanochtend de Ouigo Brussel-Parijs genomen. Het was erg vroeg en druk, maar is vermoed ik een prima alternatief voor de bus (Zelf €16 betaald, aanzienlijk meer dan wat de mini-eiffeltorens hier kosten)
