Here's my marker piece process. Sketching and color prepping digitally. Printing out the sketch and inking over it on a light box. Trying to match the digital colors with markers is both frustrating and exciting as it forces me to not be a perfectionist.

The final season of samurai jack went so hard holy shit. The romance arc felt so forced tho, a father-daughter relationship would've been way more appropriate than a romantic one, honestly.

Been rewatching Samurai Jack, and I have to say, while the art style's been peak since the start, the writing in the 1st season isn't great. Like it's really bland and on the nose, but there was an instant improvement in the 2nd season.
