The new bill text goes way beyond eliminating @wyden.senate.gov's tax credits for wind and solar.
It actually **TAXES CLEAN ENERGY**
Needless to say, this is an awful idea. It's an immediate rate hike for consumers, and hundreds of thousands of clean energy workers are about to lose their jobs.

This is so messed up.
The new bill in Congress puts a new tax on wind and solar. They’re taxing clean energy to give your money to billionaires.
The most intense part of this bill is a new excise tax on wind and solar projects above FEOC content threshholds (!!!)
Given the sprawling nature of FEOC, that might pull in all sorts of projects with unmanageable new tax liability

Just finished the audiobook Dinner For Vampires by Bethany Joy Lenz and it was FANTASTIC! It was her story of being in a religious cult while in the entertainment industry (including while she was on One Tree Hill) and her narration of it couldn’t have been more perfect. I highly recommend it!
