Democrats should run on the fact that their opposition is literally killing Americans and destroying the country.

It’s not hyperbole. That’s the message they should be blasting out to media every day.

They are killing Americans and destroying the country. They hate our freedom. They hate democracy

“It would be fine to annex sovereign territory of NATO allies if food prices were lower” is not the banger messaging Democratic lawmakers and their consultants seem to think.

And their refusal to avail themselves of the legal means available to interfere with Trump’s expansionism is indefensible.

Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

LRT: I’m still proud of the time I had an entire room gripped and laughing at a story largely consisting of a lane change. Not a euphemism. Literally just me changing lanes on a freeway.

anyone can grab the room by like idk having witnessed a diamond heist and just telling us about it. you get more points if you have us rolling on the floor over, like, the haunted office photocopier or your kid’s weirdest questions

and it isn't even the only example of US/Canadian national team members getting together ! it is something of a generational tradition !
If you liked Heated Rivalry, wait till you learn that the captain of the US Womens National Hockey Team and the captain of the Canadian Womens National Hockey team- two teams with an absolutely insane rivalry- got married to each other.

oh my God, who was going to tell me that Strong Poison was published in 1930 which means this #PublicDomainDay marks the public domain debut of my favorite character in all of literature, my queen, my angel, Harriet Vane?

oh my God I'm going to cry

oh my GOD who's going to make the new TV series?

Same thing with that obnoxious "Grok apologized!" screenshot that was going around yesterday. It was specifically asked by a user to do that! It's something that just tells you whatever it is you want to hear. Stop acting like it has insights into company policy and stuff.

The inexorable arrow of time plows forward toward your obliteration.

Assigning an arbitrary cyclical period and attaching a cultural expectation that we feel some sort of optimism and hope for renewal is some real baby-brain shit.

Eat arbys for yet another rotation around a nuclear maelstrom.

People are talking about this in terms of mail-in ballots, but this seems like a huge problem in litigation. If you have to file a notice within 90 days of X, and "filing" is deemed to be the date it's postmarked, what happens if you drop it at the post office on day 85 and it sits for a week?
Hey so this seems like something more people should be talking about 🤔 🗳️
