I'm amazed how I went from "just longsword lessons" to "I'll try sparring" to "a local tournament might be fun" to "I'll keep doing longsword tournaments, but I'm not branching out to other weapons" to signing up for my first rapier tournament in under 2 years. #HEMA swordfighting is fun y'all

The definition of who is and isn’t a citizen has changed over time and they have already shown their intent to roll it back, so don’t believe the illusion that you’re safer than anyone else
If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

All my #Hema club mates are talking about their goals for the upcoming tournament and it's all "make elim round" or "make finals" and I'm over here saying "not die?"
All 3 events that I signed up for are on the same day so RIP to my arms.
