Journo, lover of democracy, community and kindness. Grateful for family and friends. Hopeful for a better world, but sadly feel much anxiety about the future.
Nigel Farage was allowed to constantly make comments or interrupt, but thankfully the audience applauded Alastair Campbell's comments on the the damage of Brexit
"You're somebody who will exploit any problem going for your own political ends. #Brexit was a fundamentally damaging thing to this country. That is your one legacy... It's made us poorer, made us weaker, and hit our standing in the world." @alastaircampbell2.bsky.social on🔥. #BBCQT ~AA

Horrified at the reactions of so many in the audience tonight, cheering Farage, but there are still some sane and empathetic voices out there. This man made such an important contribution
We are just Germany in the 1930s instead of blaming Jews we are blaming migrants.

But they aren't responsible for Austerity, Brexit or the profiteering crisis.

There's a new craze in bookshops around the UK...

...namely placing Boris Johnson's new memoir next to other books on lying and/or Brexit damage - or even alongside toilet paper and cat litter...

Here's one for Greta Thunberg, Andrew Tate having all his cars taken away.

Now who is laughing at all those 'emissions'?

My word of the day (and personal recommendation) is ‘snerdling’ (18th century): nestling cosily beneath the covers and holding off the day a little longer.

Morning.
