This is an awful & to me genuinely shocking, story. It’s not that Jay was let down by the safeguarding *system*, tho of course that’s never acceptable, it’s the personal role played in the failure by the Bishop of Leicester, which raises serious questions of judgement

This is a cob (dirt) wall in Dorchester on Thames. It’s two feet thick, probably sixty feet long and it’s home to hundreds of solitary (mason?) bees! It’s Grade II listed, and an example of how heritage building survival is important not just for the vibes or the history.

YES. The paramedics took my pen to check what the dosage was and yeah they pointed out it was due to expire in two weeks which I had not realised!! So check that.

Perhaps this is a good time to remind people to regularly check that their epi pens are still within the expiry date, especially if it’s been years since you’ve needed to use one.
