Can someone explain to the damn government that no matter how often they insist immigration is the biggest issue facing us, that that’s simply a lie…..
Climate and biodiversity breakdown are the issues of our time!!
And can someone tell the @BBC too please?

It appears yet again that the promise of a ban on peat based compost in horticulture is forgotten, along with various other promises. When will this govt understand there’s no life on a dead planet 🌎

Just visited a great garden centre with a huge range of interesting plants…..
Great you’d think?
Except they were all grown abroad in pots full of peat.
So disappointing.

Euonymus europaeus L., Spindle; invert associates
1. I've used Spindle in every copse & hedgerow I’ve ever planted. Fruits ripen about now; vivid red-pink capsules enclose bright orange arils. It’s a larval host for c. 27 spp. of inverts, 9 of them Lepidoptera.

Surely using any civilian lives as collateral damage is morally unacceptable?
There needs to be a ceasefire now and we need the leader of the opposition to fight for that

Hello folks! Not going to lie-im finding it increasingly difficult to not just appear on various platforms and rant about the state of the world.
Which isn’t especially helpful.
But why can’t we treat all life as equally sacred and see that war only makes everything about who holds power and wealth?

Just in case anyone asks, I drink tea. By the gallon!!

Morning folks!!
Last week I wrote to my MP about the Israel/Gaza war, asking for the govt to at least acknowledge the plight of Palestinian citizens, and ask for aid to be allowed in, water turned on etc etc…..
I despair of this govt. the response only speaks of the atrocities on Israel.
*sighs*

Morning-the birds are back!
In the last 24 hours from the garden we’ve heard owls and green woodpeckers, the starlings are roosting and the rooks in the rookery in the woods are louder morning and evening!
And there’s a tiny wren with a huge voice.
