A bit more about Wilson's intensified police activity. While running errands this am, witnessed PPB stopping folks in dangerous ways. 1) blocking the closed-loop streetcar on Grand, and 2) bike lane on Foster.

In both cases, they could have used a non-busy car travel lane or nearby parking lot.

🚨🚸 - Safe routes to school is more than a talking point. If you are in North Portland this afternoon, please heed this call to support after school pickup today at James John & Cesar Chavez Elementary Schools and George Middle School. #AbolishICE

Thanks for this update! The "MyTSA" app is down, and that's where MSY points visitors for info.

It's important to report, but carefully. Pick a mnemonic (CLEAR, ALERTA, or SALUTE) and remember it.

This FUBARs us repeatedly.

For ex. it's why things are so suffocatingly racist here. Rather than picking a side (slave state or nah), OR said fuck it, let's just go our own ideal white supremist route.

The whole state is built on that foundation. www.opb.org/news/article...

Anecdotally, we went out to protest on Foster Road @ Holgate around 4-6 pm w folks who worked brunch on Foster. We witnessed many post-protest folks patronizing local biz.

We closed out the day with our neighbors in the service industry along Foster Rd. who worked today and couldn't make it downtown.

This #BrunchBunch are #EverydayAntifascists. Large protest or small, every voice matters.

"Kongs not kings" also a cutie. I saw so many dogs, but was too busy biking to photograph many.

Sir Francis Bacon and I headed down to the #NoKings rally downtown Portland, Oregon today.

The event was humongous, vibes were amazing, and animals against fascism turned out en masse.

Too bad Portland couldn't stop being ablaze long enough to hold a #NoKings rally today.

What I'm seeing in my n'hood corner (now split) R2.5 lots: 1 BIG main house w ADU attached + 2 sm houses. Here's one example. (Main houses on 6481 & 6491 are bigger than 6471.) That's 12 units: are any affordable? (This was previously one big ole house.)

Ole milkshake face, fash-chaser And* Ng* has been scrambling for relevance since he was working on the Portland State newspaper and renting a room in a ranch house at the base of Mt Tabor, don't let his fake Essex accent fool you.

Total loser, all day every day.

Fam just sent pic of their costume for the #NoKings protest in Richmond... lessons in poopaganda from Big Antifa traveling coast to coast.

Dunno, but if I were Portland mayor I'd probably move Zombie Ted out of his cage in the basement of the MAC for the afternoon, and hide the insurrection there.

I mean no one's actually seen Wheeler in months, so clearly it's a top notch hiding spot 😉

I think nearly all of the merch was donated or recycled ... if not, it's in boxes buried in garage. But I've got a stack of the little button stickers if you want ... I repurposed them so I don't have to buy Scotch tape. 😂

Credit for the #EverydayAntifascist movement in Portland in 2020 goes to all of the community organizations in the streets, inc. @popmobpdx.bsky.social who did the heavylifting organizing community events unceasingly.

I'm privileged I had the campaign infrastructure to elevate the message.
October 12, 2025 at 1:36 AM
Even though it probably contributed to my campaign loss in 2020, I will never, ever regret trying to normalize being against fascism. I put #EverydayAntifascist on bumper stickers because I meant it.

So sad to learn of the passing of State Rep. Hoa Nguyen. Even though she was dying, she traveled to Salem to help pass a transportation bill for our state.

She was a real one, a true champion for justice, and will be fondly remembered and missed. Condolences to those closest to her on their loss.

Props to DHS for framing Portland's densest neighborhood so the world thinks we look more like Vancouver than Topeka.

I love that urbanity for us. #SoWaFTW
