I guess with all the other open-air graft going on it's easy to overlook, but the U.S. Commerce Secretary using his official position to go on cable news to tell people to buy the stock of his boss's largest campaign donor is just astonishingly corrupt.
On Jesse Watters’ show, Howard Lutnick, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, tells viewers they should buy Tesla stock.

There appear to be at least three separately operating heel factions breaking things within the government in wholly different ways right now. There's the Miller-headed immigration one, the DOGE/Elon one, and a Project 2025 OMB one. This dynamic hasn't showed up in mainstream reporting at all.

Most Americans really don’t understand what strongman corruption looks like. You just force people to hand things over to your cronies. Maybe they even have to pay a tithe by buying one if Trump’s bullshit online businesses or memecoins. It’s using federal law as a tool to pocket billions in funds.
