A neat 3D example of fitting an oriented bounding box using the approximate first principal component method I wrote about. Note that in the bottom left corner there's a toggle button for comparing between the exact PCA (red) its approximation (green).
Made a try on using it for OBB computation in shader, with diff with more classical PCA, works nicely

A neat video about the basics of rasterization.

I started game dev before hardware accelerated 3d rendering, and back then, there was a lot more emphasis on how to efficiently write the pixels of a triangle.

I rarely see Fractal Texturing used anywhere but find it really useful. It makes a single texture look good at any distance, without getting pixelated or blurry and tiled, by interpolating between different scales of the same texture based on the depth.

Wish you could edit Godot scenes in context of a bigger scene, like in Unity? I scripted a plugin which hijacks your viewports to do exactly that. You just gotta hit save though 🤷. Grab it here:

Meta illegaly downloaded 80+ terabytes of books from LibGen, Anna's Archive, and Z-library to train their AI models.

In 2010, Aaron Swartz downloaded only 70 GBs of articles from JSTOR (0.0875% of Meta). Faced $1 million in fine and 35 years in jail. Took his own life in 2013.
