Birthrates are a pretty serious long term macro issue that people (from right wing freaks all the way over to left wing anti-natalists) seem preternaturally incapable of discussing in non-deeply personal terms.
I’m gonna say it: it’s stupid how psychotic people get when birthrates are discussed. If you scream at and shout down anyone who isn’t a handmaids tale type when the subject comes up, then the policy space is going to be dominated by them, for what’s clearly going to be a consequential issue.

Unsurprising that, after his party got its ass whipped, Trump would lean into vote fraud horseshit. A little surprising, though, that no one has yet told him that anonymous grocery shopping remains not just possible but the norm.
