If job searches are going to continue to become more and more miserable than they already are with the help of AI then what we need are AI agents to help with the job search progress. They should actually make life easier for the masses and should be paid for simultaneously w/ unemployment insurance.

I agree.

In a functioning democracy, we would already be in the midst of an impeachment trial.

Got that? Not. A. Crime.”

There is no such thing as an ‘illegal immigrant’ | Mehdi Hasan
It is a factually inaccurate and totally, utterly wrong to say that undocumented people are ‘illegal’ and are ‘criminals’

Age limits > term limits

Every single democratic congress person over the age of 65 should not run for reelection. The boomers are tired and not up to the fight.

Dear friends,
Start buying travel insurance when you book your tickets to fly. We flight attendants are trained to evacuate the plane quickly but you gotta leave your stuff behind. "DROP THAT SHIT!" isn't part of what we are trained to yell but it's the most frequently added command.

Fly safe!🥰

my question now is - is there somewhere I can go that can check and see if my phone now has some sort of bug or tracking? I have zero trust in them doing the right thing and fully believe they could look for something to intimidate me with.

if you're planning to travel internationally soon be prepared for this extra screening if you come from a country that might be on some sort of terrorist watch as defined by this administration. Avoid tight connections. I cooperated but only provided answers needed and nothing more.

The phones being out of my sight were worrisome but the interviewer also asked me about any health issues. I told him I have sleep apnea and HIV which would have been easily verified by looking in my carry-on and finding my CPAP and antiretroviral medication. I didn't know if HIPAA laws applied or?

I was very bothered by my cell phone and work device bring out of my sight as they're needed for work. The disclosure said they could impound either & had me worried. I was envisioning calling my boss & Crew Scheduling if they decided they were going to impound it for an unspecified amount of time.

"terrorism" in the interview was defined in very general terms. The interviewer asked me to surrender my cell phone and work cell device and pass codes so they could check both. Both were out of my sight for about 20 minutes. I'm curious to know if they put a bug or tracker on my cell phone.

I flew in from BOG to MIA today after spending last week visiting friends in Colombia. I'll be catching a flight back home to PDX later today. I just had an intensive interview with TSA/DHS under the new administration's directives "looking for terrorists and terrorism related activities".
