I had to say goodbye to Sammi this weekend. The cancer was making it too hard for her to breathe. 14 years of love, loyalty, silliness, and joy. She was an amazing dog. I love you, Sammi. 💔

Sammi had another checkup today with her oncologist. Her current treatment is working to keep the lung metastasis from spreading, which was welcome news. She continues to have trouble with spontaneous pneumothorax, so we take everything day by day.

Sammi’s trip to the oncologist was a tough one. The cancer has already spread to her lungs. We’re switching to a new medication to try and slow the progression. In the meantime, we will be taking Sammi on as many adventures as she wants.

Thank you! I spent 25 years in the private sector paying into SS and was going to lose most of that because of the WEP.

Sammi started chemo yesterday. So far, tests have shown no signs of metastasis, which is a big relief. Such a good girl.

Let's be clear. Trump was always going to go nuts with pardons. The pundits, journalists, and Democrats saying that the Hunter Biden pardon now gives him an excuse really mean that it will give THEM an excuse to blame Democrats for Trump's absolutely outrageous acts that he has planned all along.

Big step today as Sammi continues her recovery -she had her drain removed. Sutures out in one week and then she gets her first post-surgery trip to the park.
