If I could ask one question of the Prime Minister.. I would like to understand his definition of “hate preachers that promote violence”, bc signing missiles that fall on children & hanging out with a genocidal army would absolutely fit the bill if he was of any other religion.Explain it to me..

Frydenberg’s comments are misleading because they conflate two very different situations: a politically motivated mass terror attack linked (at least narratively) to post–October 7 antisemitism, and the Bondi killings by a man described by police as having isis issues driven by ideology.

What would have done more, much more than anything else to combat antisemitism would have been a rally organised by the Australian Jewish community against the catastrophic civilian suffering in Gaza, including the deaths and maiming of thousands of innocent children. www.smh.com.au/politics/fed...
PM says national unity is his job, as Jewish critics say he has been slow to act
Antisemitism envoy Jillian Segal delivered her report on combatting antisemitism six months ago, and the opposition is seizing on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s delay in following her advice.

David Littleproud clearly getting nervous at the prospect of stronger gun laws has labelled gun sale restrictions a “cheap political diversion” by the govt to the Bondi attack.

Does he realise one of the terrorists legally owned six firearms? I think he knows but doesn’t care.

You know the Vanity Fair article with Susie Wiles that everyone’s talking about?

Yeah. This is basically the audio version Narrated by Nicolle Wallace, and it’s not “taken out of context”. ☠️😭

"It is time for [the PM] to accept personal responsibility for the death of 15 innocent people, including a 10-year-old child."

In an effort to revive his political career, Frydenberg turns the dial to 11 on outrageous politicization of the Bondi massacre. Shameful.

We aren't as a nation coming together to grieve the loss of life. No planned bipartisan memorial, no political parties standing together , no bipartisan support of any kind. Media no longer fact checking just anonymous commentary, ABC ignoring their charter. Fomenting hate, gleeful point scoring!

I've never been more convinced Australia has the worst mainstream journalists in the world. Simple, thick, racist, ahistorical, bootlicking dipshits that lie and screech more than they think and feel. This weaponisation of a tragedy against anti-genocide voices is grotesque.

Is this not a sickening media feast at Bondi of preying on some people's abject misery and ignoring the plight of others? And what were the Red Cross thinking handing out teddy bears to children at Bondi the day after? It's bizarre. And Netanyahu can take his blame and shove it.

The initial smear was bad enough. The attempt to hide it was utterly reprehensible.

Why did the @sydmorningherald.bsky.social let Knott completely rewrite the story to correct his embarrassing "stuff up" & claim it had merely been "updated"?

And why is #Insiders not interrogating this properly?
Claim a quote from a Hamas co-founder who’s in prison unable to comment.

Quietly rewrite when busted.

Pull Knott from the Insiders sofa and send Massola instead to waffle about "offices".

Keep running the smear anyway.

That’s SMH. That’s #Insiders. That’s garbage.
