I've not scheduled anthing this morning (til 2pm) and am in Pleasance Courtyard if anyone's about and wants a chat. I'm a UK venue programmer, also producing shows here at Pleasance & Underbelly, and previously worked for the Fringe Society. Black jacket, black top, curly hair tied back.

My Edinburgh train is full of scouts heading to a camp somewhere. Please god let it be somewhere 1 stop away....

It's silly season! Today I've already checked in with Emmy Happisburgh and the Second Summer of Love team in Stage Two, and Harry Baker who is doing 2 shows over at the Playhouse. Now I'm away on a 6-hour train journey to Chester to rehearse Spy Movie: The Play!'s hour-long version for Edinburgh.

I will be at #edfringe to programme shows and connect with artists/companies. A bit about what in particular I’m looking for 🧵

I programme 3 theatres in Norwich (more info below). We also produce, with ability to support development of new work, commission and co-produce.

I'm in a reet posh hotel (a million cushions/pillows on the bed, fancy coffee machine, etc) and all the telly apps. "Nev" has left his BBC Iplayer logged in. He likes Red Dwarf and Antiques Roadshow. What should I introduce Nev to that wasn't on tv in the 90s?

First get-out of our 'Spy Movie: The Play!' tour done and I have given myself a lie-in. Which of course is why I've been wide awake since 6.30am.

There's been an announcememt on my train that a carriage has been locked out of use "for safety". I'm imagining an escaped tiger... very localised alien invasion... sentient train seat with a lot to say...

Stupid o'clock and I'm already on a train heading to That London for the first day of rehearsals on Spy Movie:The Play!

Looking for Edinburgh accom for Aug? I have a spare double in Tollcross by the Meadows. Would initially like it to go to someone I know at least a little, IE if we're pals, we've worked together, or even follow each other, that makes it fair game. Drop me a DM or email me @ work.

Albert the bat is out of hibernation and flitting about outside my window. Like, literally over my head (sloping roof window). It's quite the show and it never gets old.

Couldn't be prouder sitting in tonight's opening night audience at the Playhouse for 201 Dance Company's adaptation of Michael Rosen's Sad Book. Such a stunning show - visually and emotionally. Last 2 performances tomorrow, Norwich - don't miss this!

New tour! Taking this on t'road from April through the summer.

A love letter to the spy films we all know and adore, Spy Movie: The Play! is a farcical comedy that creates a Hollywood movie on a fringe theatre budget.
