Update, I'm considering redoing this sleeve.

1. I'm unhappy with the color work at the center of the sleeve. Will that get neater when I weave in my ends? Is it worth redoing to fix it?

A portion of a knitting pattern that clearly reads - cast on 40 stitches for an XL - increase to 47 stitches - increase once on either side of the marker at center sleeve - repeat increases every 1.25in (3cm) until you have increased FOURTEEN TIMES - work until sleeve is 18.5in (47cm) - you should have 75 stitches on your needles Etc., etc. A grey sleeve knitted bottom up on double pointed needles. It is approximately 17in (43cm) long at this point. It has a red and white color work pattern right above a ribbed cuff. The obvious increase markers indicate that the knitter was increasing with no real rhyme or reason, just whenever they felt like it.
