My favourite horrifying thing this year (content warning for spiders and parasitic wasps if that's something you have aversions to)
“Mum! Come look! I found a thing!” Ohmigods. Someone sheared a mud wasp’s nest off the wall by accident while moving a table for NYE and the inside is stashed with paralysed wasps injected with neurotoxin and wasp pupae in cocoons. This is worse than ‘Aliens’

So I'm on this list, which is bananas. And right off the bat I notice Ai Yazawa and Kyoko Okazaki, two pioneering shojo manga artists whose careers have been cut short by severe health problems. Please, please, instead of messing around with AI trash, buy these artists' books and support them.
