Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on.

20 years ago we used to do a T-shirt that just said “God Bless Brian Wilson” in the Pet Sounds font and one day we got an email from Brian’s guitar player asking to buy them for the band. Obviously we just sent them to him. He sent us back a lovely letter and this. Treasure.

The period between Christmas and New Year is great as basically it's the only time of year you can stay in your pyjamas for days, drink alcohol at any time of day, have 4 naps a day, and eat cheese and chocolate for every meal without anyone getting concerned and staging an intervention for you.
