Humour me: if Ai scrapes all the human made images/text on the web to make more images/text. Does that mean it will start to scrape more and more Ai images/text as time goes on making the output less and less “human”? As it regurgitates regurgitations? Is there a tipping point?

Here’s a pen and ink drawing of Evan Dando I drew whilst listening to his book. If I wrote a list of artists I listened to at 15 and still listen to at 48 it would be very short but he would be on it.

They're not calling it heavy snow and wind on the news, they're calling it a "weather bomb".

I'm too old for this. Much, much too old for this nonsense.

Just finished Rumours Of My Demise by Evan Dando. My love of Dando is such that there was no way I wasn't going to absolutely love it. Guess what? I absolutely loved it.

I’m doing Duolingo French to varying degrees of success, but I simply do not believe French people say “animal de compagnie” instead of “pet”.

Practically every single year, since I can remember, there has been *something* that has meant that humanity has been on the verge of catastrophe. Every year. And every year I buy into it with every fibre of my being. It would feel churlish to stop worrying about it now.

I will never not find "Yellow Snow Warning" funny and there's not a court in the land that can do me for it.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I don't think it's about oil. I think he's just looked at a map and decided he wants ALL this. Venezuela was the aperitif.

Every morning to get myself geed-up for work I watch Eric Bristow's iconic walk-on from the 1997 semi-final against Phil Taylor at the Circus Tavern.

I’ve written a list of things I know absolutely nothing about and it’s incredibly long and hard to remember but Venezuela is definitely on it.

Happy New Year! Our shop is open today although I notice none of the LBC big-hitters have made it back to work. Shameful.
