Innocent people end up in our criminal courts.

I identified myself as a US citizen and a veteran, but that didn't matter. Agents smashed my window, sprayed tear gas and pepper spray into my car, dragged me out. Even after I complied, I was taken to a detention center and held for 3 days without charges. No phone call, no lawyer, no medical care

From a thread on mispronunciation by Susie Dent, this contribution on Testicles deserves to pass into common usage.
As a small child I said "to womb are you referring?" (I read a lot.) My teenage sons insist on pronouncing Testicles as though it's the name of a Greek hero.

Someone on my feed yesterday reposted a TikTok clip of a cat spooked by a balloon bursting who then knocked over the tv and took out the overhead fan. The repost stated something like “This is the funniest one minute fifteen seconds you’ll see today”
