It’s great when birds line up for a size comparison like this. That’s a Snowy Egret on the left and a Great Egret on the right. Very different!

Also they look like they just had an argument and aren’t speaking to each other now.

Humbling reading garbage code and finding out the author was you.

Even more humbling, however, when you read nonsense code comments which aren't even proper english, following the git history and finding out, again, the author was you.

Instead of fighting climate change we fight ourselves. The world gets what it deserves
Scientists think there's a decent chance that, if global temps rise 2 degrees above pre-industrial levels, it could trigger a cascade of tipping points that further accelerate warming, up to 5 or 6 degrees.

AKA: "A cluster of abrupt shifts occur in ESMs [Earth system models] at 1.5 to 2ºC."
Climate change is not linear: why we need to update the Paris Agreement
For a few years, scientists have been warning that even if we hit Paris targets, we could cross several tipping points that could trigger a cascade into total climate breakdown. ‘A clust...

How does writing a song even work? I could not imagine sitting with anyone and telling them, we should sing this one chorus line for 1.5 minutes straight till the end of the song. I'd be way to awkward for this shit.

Now I'm super late to the party, but I love tailwindcss. A few days ago I tried setting up a small web page and thought it wouldn't pay to setup it up. But lo and behold, stylesheet was a complete mess, styles kept conflicting and the classes I defined made no sense. We didn't evolve to write css.
