You’d have to be a colossal level of prat to fall for this or a complete asshole who gets their happiness from the suffering of others.

Autism is not an anxiety problem or lack of 'resilience'.
It is genetics based & very clearly a difference in how the brain functions, takes in sensory and social information, and communicates socially.
We need to provide proper accommodations, or take responsibility for failure when we do not.

Perhaps one day, a man will say “on reflection, my behaviour was inappropriate and I apologise to everyone affected”.
