Hello darlings!! I hope everyone is doing well! It would mean a great deal if you could spend no more than five minutes filling out this survey in aid of me writing my dissertation of crime fiction. All the best darlings!! Cannot wait to see what you say!

Alas. It is time to change tactics and start calling it what it is. People listen because they already agree. They aren’t hoodwinked or spirited away. They searched for it because they already agreed with it.
It bears repeating….
@elienyc.bsky.social is right.

Go give this author some love! Support the economic blackout and purchase from small businesses!
On today’s #economicblackout, consider shopping local instead of purchasing from major corporations and use cash instead of card.

My books are available at Rainbow Road in MPLS! Both novels are $20 each, while Hadrian and Antinous is $10!

When the time comes, I want to write the best fairy tales and fantasy stories and tales of horror and suspense. When the time comes, I will be a successful author. I don't care if I make millions, I just want someone to read my books and feel at home with them and feel safe

This makes me sick to read. This man I admired a great deal. Stardust was formative reading for me, and I love the film. But reading this…it’s beyond belief. I hope he has the afterlife he deserves

Fucking love Márquez
Reading the interviews of Gabriel García Márquez and this passage stands out to me, from the 1970s but relevant in this time, that in this era the fight must be for collective happiness, which as he astutely describes, is the only kind of just happiness

I fucking love Gothic horror for many reasons, but the main reason for me is that you can historically pinpoint the major concerns of a decade by the horror literature/filmmaking that has been made. Invasion, disfigurement, alien presences, etc

Staying with my parents, I discovered at least four boxes stuffed with books I thought lost to the ages. Every book came with its own intense memory and I was bowled over by their emotional intensity. I remembered when I bought each book, when I sat down to read them, how they made me feel as I read
