I fucking love Gothic horror for many reasons, but the main reason for me is that you can historically pinpoint the major concerns of a decade by the horror literature/filmmaking that has been made. Invasion, disfigurement, alien presences, etc

Staying with my parents, I discovered at least four boxes stuffed with books I thought lost to the ages.
