When I was in California in 2023, I stumbled on this two volume collection by my favourite fantasy author. I had a fully emotional reaction to seeing them. The Last Unicorn has always been a favourite and I honestly cannot wait for his new release “I’m Afraid You’ve Got Dragons” #petersbeagle

There is something utterly delicious about the Gothic that really attracts me. As a queer person, I have always felt an affinity with the genre. Perhaps because there is a shameless decadence in its style, where characters are just wonderfully themselves and unafraid. We need more queer gothic fic

I found this when I was looking after my parents house and felt a sudden surge of wanting to delve back into the world of these fairy tales. I cannot wait to get back to them after I finish my current writing project
