Anybody interested in discovering what Christian theology is all about? Spoiler alert - it's way more interesting than memorizing a bunch of "right answers".

I'm teaching an intro class this winter that's available online or in-person and is super affordable to audit.

What if we spend 5% of GDP on the CBC instead of on the military and just see what happens?
I think if Canada wants to have a strong cultural identity we need to go back to doing what we're best at, making the weirdest fucking TV shows you've ever seen

people always stereotype Canadians as being polite, and its not true at all. We are passive-agressive weirdos who live in isolated weird places and the sooner we make peace with that the better

We are reaching the end of our @nichecanada.bsky.social fundraising campaign & we are still 31% away from our goal.

I owe a great deal to this group, & I also put SO MUCH labour into this community. More than ever, environmental knowledge needs to be protected & supported.

I think the biggest proof point for the Pope's ongoing leadership of the whole global church is how widespread Christ the King Sunday is now observed. All sorts of Christians, even ones with explicitly different calendars or none now make reference to it in some way. Really remarkable.

Man, Cardus is getting worse by the minute.
How did this happen? Cardus, a Christian, conservative, small government organization thought it would be a good idea to bring Ross Douthat to speak a Canadian audience.

Jen Gerson, a conservative writer I usually have time for, decided to take advantage of the opportunity for clicks. It’s on her.
Oh please just fuck off

It’s incredibly frustrating the way the boomers systematically broke every institution in our society and yet still hold on desperately to all the levers of power even as they drive off the cliff.
