Confession time. I started my 12yo on the gateway drugs of Harry Chapin and Jim Croche, and that has led to exploratory Gordon Lightfoot and just now, a sniff of Stan Rogers. I tried to stop it, but I'm a heavy Sea Shanty user myself, and addiction runs in families.
