1 billion people in Africa still cook with basic fuels like wood, charcoal & dung, contributing to over 800,000 premature deaths a year – mostly women & children.

Solving this major injustice would cost less than 0.1% of global energy investment.

Regjeringen mener at deres eget scenario er urealistisk.

The EU has released its latest GHG emission inventory, with data up to 2023.

The good news, GHG emissions continue a downward trend, currently 37% below 1990 levels.

The bad news, a significant downward revision of land-use removals (LULUCF).

Seems like the logical conclusion of this "generative AI" exercise.

"“My grades were amazing,” she said. “It changed my life.” Sarah continued to use AI when she started college this past fall. Why wouldn’t she? Rarely did she sit in class and not see other students’ laptops open to ChatGPT.

"It’s not just the students: Multiple AI platforms now offer tools to leave AI-generated feedback on students’ essays. Which raises the possibility that AIs are now evaluating AI-generated papers, reducing the entire academic exercise to a conversation between two robots — or maybe even just one."

"I fed Wendy’s essay through a free AI detector, ZeroGPT, and it came back as 11.74 AI-generated, which seemed low given that AI, at the very least, had generated her central arguments. I then fed a chunk of text from the Book of Genesis into ZeroGPT and it came back as 93.33 percent AI-generated."

Many millions of Americans aren't dying to work in factories; many US manufacturing jobs aren't "good jobs" (especially vs comparable services); & trade policy can't restore a mid-century US industrial workforce.

Have anyone ever heard of any political party or campaign that took a clear stand against weather forecasting?

The US was suppose to have a robust political system, but when it is possible to dismantle weather forecasting than anything goes.

SCOOP: RFK Jr. secretly recorded his second wife during their bitter divorce fight and in one conversation acknowledged he was "polygamous" and blamed her for that. One recording might have violated state law—in a messy saga that ended with her suicide.
