When you encounter something new to you, try and turn off that need to say/think, “I’m reminded of [familiar thing]” and take that new thing for what it is…and then see how your world expands.

If genAI was any good, all they'd have to do is tell us about it, and show us a demo.

We'd taste it and say, "Egad! This is truly a tool of the gods!" and we'd throw all our money at it.

But it's no good, so they jizz it all over our basic work tools, stand back, and smugly say, "you're welcome."
