There must be immediate Congressional investigations into Pete Hegseth’s ordering the killings of strike survivors and over 80 people in international waters. Where is my opponent Rep. Ann Wagner? Bible verses and banking regulations aren’t going to save you. Do your job or resign! @wellmanformo

Grift all the way down
After a bipartisan backlash, Republican senators are distancing themselves from a provision tucked inside the CR/minibus allowing 8 of them to sue for $500K in taxpayer-funded payments for each "instance" where their data was accessed in the Jan. 6 probe. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...
GOP senators distance themselves from provision allowing them to sue over phone record searches
The senators’ comments came after House Speaker Mike Johnson said he would hold a vote on the House floor to repeal the provision inserted by his Senate counterparts.

Allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m Fred Wellman and I’m running for Congress to win next. Join us and let’s take back Missouri.
Here we are in another Republican government shutdown and my Rep is home doing photo ops instead of in D.C. trying to help working Americans. I didn't think I'd have to run to the trumpets again but I am. I'm running for Congress because I'm not done yet and neither are we. youtu.be/OSOAPMl_BSc?...

The oligarchy came out in full force against Zohran Mamdani's fight for a more affordable NYC.

It didn't matter.

Let his victory in the face of Big Money serve as a reminder that people have the power.

Trump illegally withheld $5.5 billion in SNAP funds, defying Congress & the courts.

He’d rather let 16 million kids go hungry than obey the law.

After threats & delays, the WH now says it will “comply" w/ a court order to fund SNAP.

This is chaos. No way to run the government.

TRUMP: Are you ready? I don't know who he is

After whatever happened in Butler, PA, when Trump got to the hospital, the first thing he said to aides was, "How is it playing? How does it look on TV?"

Are those the words of a man who had just survived a real assassination attempt?

This is undemocratic. For over 40 days, the U.S. House of Representatives has been out of session—votes cancelled, refusing to swear in Adelita Grijalva, refusing to recognize democrats, and refusing to negotiate to reopen the government, feed children, and fix healthcare. We are fighting back!

Mike Johnson bemoans able-bodied men collecting healthcare benefits from the government while not working--exactly what Mike Johnson is currently doing.
Mike Johnson: "With Medicaid, we eliminated the fraud, waste, and abuse. We got able-bodied young men without dependents off the program. They were never intended to be there. They're sitting around on their couches playing video games. Yes, that's an actual study."

Adelita Grijalva now holds the record for longest delay between winng a special Congressional election and being sworn into office.

Why the delay from Mike Johnson?

Perhaps it's because Grijalva would cast the final vote needed to release the Epstein files.

It’s wildly ironic that MAGAs now have control of the Presidency, Congress, and the Supreme Court, and yet they still manage to feel themselves oppressed, still picture the world as unfair, still rage against a machine they’ve made and are part of.

An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. It’s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

Private equity gave $10M to Trump's inauguration. He gave them greater access to Americans' 401(k)s.

DuPont and Dow Chemical gave $750K. Trump exempted them from an air pollution rule.

Intuit gave $1M. Trump killed the IRS Direct File Program.

Everything is for sale.

This is terribly dangerous.
It’s unnecessary and inflammatory.
The US led the world to stop detonating nukes at the end of the cold war.  Trump is 100% wrong here. We do not need to detonate more nuclear weapons.

Let’s be clear here—Trump has the funds to ensure 42 million Americans don’t lose access to SNAP benefits on Saturday. But, they are CHOOSING to let Americans starve.

That’s why I introduced the SNAP BACK Act today—to ensure families are fed.

We will not let Americans starve.

Or that almost 40% of SNAP recipients are children?

And that Whites account for 37% of SNAP recipients?

During today’s pro forma session, when the House is called to order I will seek unanimous consent to insist upon the swearing-in of Adelita Grijalva.
