In other words, another big China export market for Europe will start breaking away, after cars and machines which are in freefall.

European luxury is the next sector going through the China cycle: rising sales in and exports to China, import substitution, then global competition.

Interesting development that probably merits a bit more attention in Europe and especially Paris.
