Arsenal fans: why can’t we play a more exciting midfield like Liverpool
Liverpool: concede chance after chance while their midfield gets run through.

Horrible to see Ricky Hatton go so young (46).
A warm, charismatic, funny and vulnerable man.
On those big Manchester fight nights he electrified the city. He was a world champion with the strongest local roots. An all-action fighter and character, gone too soon.

That’s the most unfair disallowed goal I think I’ve seen. Made far worse by the fact it was an 18yo’s first Prem goal. #CHEFUL

Thoughts with all the PSG and Arsenal supporting cardinals and bishops. I'd be absolutely fuming at the timing of this conclave thing.

We can say it for certain now: Arsenal and Arteta have done an absolute number on Real Madrid. At no point over the two legs have they been in any real danger. Five high-quality goals. Arteta has won the FA Cup but this is his finest moment.

Saka on contract extension: “I want to win wearing this badge. It’s pretty clear the fans know how much I love them. You saw them when I returned, I think they love me back so it’s a good relationship. I’m really happy to be here. I’m just focused on winning at Arsenal.”

Here’s my back of the ciggy pack analysis. Coaching gives you your floor. Arsenal’s floor is very high because of the coach (which is why we’ll finish 2nd with ridiculous injuries). Talent gives you your ceiling. We need more attacking talent.

Pay careful attention to how the right divide on the Ukraine issue. In the years to come, when the full horror of this period is recognised, they will deny they said the things they said. Important to remember those who betrayed their values when the moment came.

Cold light of day, Liverpool absolutely deserve another title for what they have done over the last 7-8 years, especially as they have almost certainly had titles taken from them due to *redacted*

I remain confident Arsenal will do it under Arteta.

That was so much fun. I've waited ages for us to pump that lot and it proved to be immensely satisfying.

57,000 people singing "Stay humble you cunt" off the cuff is truly the stuff of football crowd dreams.

My opinion certainly hasn’t changed after last night! Sterling & Neto our two loan players…

Been a lot of talk about our lack of attacking signings in the summer, but I wonder how much #Arsenal regret their GK business.

Signed a player in Neto who was not only cup tied for the Carabao Cup, but has taken up 1/2 PL loan slots available, which would be invaluable right now.

Assumed this was a Premier League fan posting 😂

Comforting it’s not just ⚽️ fans who like to play the victim!
one of the funny things about the discover feed is i get to see how each fanbase takes for granted that the refs and the league are out to get them specifically. "of course yet again, the league is screwing us, the worst-victimized franchise in the NHL--the Colorado Avalanche."

Spent a very informative and inspiring evening at Hale End. Myles Lewis-Skelly's mum Marcia chatted to parents of the next generation of u9s-u11s about academy life and the issues facing families in the football development bubble.

Much food for thought. #Arsenal

That felt like a real palette cleanser and a massive result in the context of our season.

With players coming back from injury; a much needed break over the FA cup weekend on the horizon and no extra CL qualifiers to play, there's every reason to be optimistic for the 2nd half of the season

Arsenal have taken such extreme measures to remove chaos from matches - to control them in every conceivable way - that we've got to the point where many of the players are like robots repeatedly relying on the same patterns of play.

What a mess.

As for Utd, just another notch on the bedpost of never ending embarrassment
Ratcliffe's opinion can turn quickly and "when his mind is made up, that's it". There were increasing questions about Ashworth in recruitment and his input to manager search... but could all of this have not been considered in the months' wait?
