It's something I don't get either. Like governments of EU states.
The fact that so many prominent self-professed pro-democracy organizations and people are still active on X today is truly a sign of these dramatic times.

Il faut arrêter de dire que la crise provoquée par la révélation d’un réseau de corruption en Ukraine affaiblit Zelensky. C’est plutôt le contraire. Et le dire nourrit le message russo/américain sur l’illégitimité de la démocratie ukrainienne.

Het zou inderdaad fijn als de media haar taak wat serieuzer neemt en rechts herhaaldelijk blijven vragen waarom ze niet aftreden bij leugens, fouten en anders onbehoorlijk
Het probleem is dat de fatsoensnormen in de politiek grotendeels ongeschreven zijn. Fatsoenlijke partijen houden zich eraan: als je iets onbehoorlijks zegt en daarmee geconfronteerd wordt, dan neem je verantwoordelijkheid en stap je op. Maar rechts doet dat niet. /1
