When the ALA recognizes one's work, that's pretty dang cool.
"The games recognized as 2026 Platinum Play Classics are Clue, Jenga, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Apocalypse World, Call of Cthulhu, Mario Kart 8, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater."

Anyone who bought a copy of my DQ adventure, The Sentinel Chapel, should now have gotten an email from DriveThru RPG with a link for a draft regional map for that adventure (and a note about a new adventure I'm working on in the same region and context). It's rough and sketchy, but it's […]

In a cooperative hobby like ours, let us raise each other up, pierce Obscurity's sorcerous mists, and push back the Juggernaut of Indifference.

We talk. We share. We play. We take breaks, but we never stop creating.

#TTRPGs
It would, in many ways, probably be easier if the world actually disliked their stuff. That at least gives something to push against.

But we are all primarily battling obscurity and indifference. They are our competition, not one another.

idk I don’t think any game jam or competition should allow AI art. I have a billion other reasons why I’m against using that stuff to make games but it especially seems to go against the spirit of making something for a jam where things can be messier and more personal

Getting ready to run the Chrome Messiah adventure (Appendix N Jam) for GOZR at RFT con.
September 13, 2025 at 9:26 PM
One week until I'm running a session of GOZR for RFTcon 2025. If it stays with just a couple people for the event, I'm thinking about having them each play 2 characters, to have a chance to mess around with more stuff. Presently making pre-gens with crib sheets.

Appendix N Jam results for the public voting are in.

Not being oriented towards 5e was almost certainly a detriment for it, so I can't complain about the ranking.

I do note that the art was ranked #60, so considerably higher than the overall ranking, and I will definitely take that.

It's done; it's posted. B+W version, color version, text file, review version (reduced resolution & watermark)

Take a look; feedback is always welcome, especially if you're running GOZR and you use this, but also if you adapt and use it some other way instead.
