Yesterday after the Women in Black Vigil in Leeds we met Giel and John two Sudanese men who are walking 700 miles on their #Thelongwalkoffreedomforsudan raising awareness and funds to build a school for displaced Sudanese children. It's really all one struggle for fairness, equality and freedom.

I stand with the resident doctors and all NHS staff taking strike action, now and in the future.
Keir Starmer has said that resident doctors have “lost the sympathy” of the public and their NHS colleagues, after members of the BMA voted to continue strike action this week

On Monday, the PM told MPs that he was “really gutted” by the decision, and described it as "irresponsible"

The United Nations needs to state unequivocally that resisting occupation is a fundamental human right; it isn’t terrorism, it is survival; and that Palestinian resistance, including armed struggle, is legally reinforced under international law.

Loved this young swan today, just strolled passed us like it owned the park. Which it probably does 😂 Love a winter walk despite the cold.

I do hate the cold weather. Scotland needs to move nearer the med, at least next to Greece or the Canaries 🥶😂

For #StunDay i've gone with a bird that is usually very elusive to capture, but for some unknown reason this #Bittern decided to step into the light and grace us with it's stunning presence.

It made to long drive to @rspbminsmere.bsky.social (267 miles) worth it.
