THANK you I feel like I'm the only centrist on this issue in the entire fandom, it would be great if more of us felt wanted to start speaking up.
are we far enough into post-s2 for me to say i'm a person who a) mainly watches the show for ed/stede, and also b) likes izzy as a character, but also c) am completely fine with his death? are we at the point yet where it's okay to say that, or are we still super polarized?

I may never have figured out I was non-binary if not for OFMD. Not only because of @vico-ortiz.bsky.social and their amazing performance as Jim, but also the rest of the cast and writers and the warmth, humor and love they brought to the show. It made me believe I could be myself and still be loved.

I saw a Tumblr post that theorized that he told them all they were written in Egyptian hieroglyphs and no one knew enough about Egypt to challenge him on it 😂

Just the fact that Ed and Stede's conflict in @david-jenkins.bsky.social's latest update isn't so much "I'm not happy" as "I worry HE'S not happy" means they are leagues ahead of where they were in their previous marriages. They'll be okay, guys. The love is there.

Currently torturing my Youtube algorithm by watching the same 4 year-old The Terror crackvids and nothing else. It keeps desperately shoving new things in my recs to get me to engage with something, anything more relevant, and I just laugh and re-roll Carnivale fire dance remixes for a tenth time.
