"It is for Congress to declare war, but Trump is using wartime laws like the AEA anyway. And it is for Congress to regulate trade, but Trump is conducting international trade policy by himself.

There are checks and balances and a separation of powers to stop this. They are simply not being used."🎯

BREAKING: Preliminary FAA report on collision concludes air traffic control was UNDERSTAFFED.

This week, Trump offered already understaffed air traffic controllers a “buyout”. They were given a one week ultimatum to decide.

This is already building into a scandal that should collapse a Presidency.

the irony is that DeepSeek has probably showed the big US AI firms a much more viable path to profitability; but in doing so it's undermined the possibility of permanent monopoly profits. If everyone can start a trillion dollar company, nobody can.

Trump hated TikTok (because China) until it helped him win an election (as even he acknowledges) and now he’s going to save it and take a victory lap. So he’ll have X, TikTok, Insta, and Facebook all working on his behalf. That’s a big difference between now and 2017.
