It’s can’t imagine how hard it must be to make a video game of epic scope. Especially anything multiplayer. Indie? Narrative? Hard, but doable. AAA multiplayer with interesting game loops, universe, progression, monetization? Yikes. No wonder so many are flailing.

Nintendo also rarely lays off employees, has been hugely influential in driving the handheld space, and makes games no one else does. They’re good for the industry. And fun!

I hope the buttons (A X Y B) feel crisper. The ones on my Ultimate from a couple years ago are a bit mushy. But solid updates to an already gray controller!
