If government made it cheap to travel by helicopter, there'd be a lot more helicopter trips. The fact those trips are not happening today does not mean people are being deprived of their mobility

I put on at least 3kg of weight every spring due to a crippling Cadbury Mini Eggs addiction. I then spend 9 months battling to lose it so I can do it all over again. Worth it.

Fine example of a cyclist death trap at the bottom of this hill by the Pinkston Basin. The even worse part is that there are a whole row of bike lock stands just up from where I took this. Are planners/architects on crack??

I have to agree with everyone who has commented so far, that if it was a Just Stop Oil protester, or a black man, or a woman mourning Sarah Everard driving that tractor then the Met Police response would have been rather different…
🚨 Tractors have broken down the barricades at the farmers protest in Central London.

Back again, about a year later. Still nobody here by the looks of things. At least they sorted the rubbish load screen on the mobile app.

Not gonna lie, having a hard time going to open Bluesky because it means having to look at the horrendous colours on the app icon and load screen.

An indication of my current state of mind: I’m currently off work recovering from a head injury, spending far too much time wondering if this really would save me if I ended up stuck on a mountainside overnight in the middle of winter (and hoping that by having it, I’ll never need to use it).
