Under Nicola Sturgeon & Humza Yousaf the Scottish Government rightly opposed the proposed Rosebank oil field.

John Swinney has sadly dropped that opposition and tried to avoid taking a position at all.

That's not good enough, so tomorrow the @scottishgreens.org will force a vote.
Greens to force vote at Holyrood on Rosebank oil development
MSPs will have their say in a symbolic vote on the project on Wednesday.

Hannah is a formidable campaigner who will win her fight to give swifts a home 💚

I’ve been delighted to work with her and @RSPBScotland and have now lodged an amendment to the Natural Environment Bill to require swift bricks in new homes in Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🪶
As I spend the day in Parliament, please lobby politicians from your computers! Email your MP even if you’ve done it before. Without swift bricks there is no secure nesting habitat for cavity nesting birds. They can’t stabilise their crashing population’s without breeding. Obvs.

We are bringing hope back to Scottish politics. That's why our polling is climbing and we're now neck & neck with Labour here and across the UK.

The super-rich will throw everything they've got at stopping us though. Join our movement and help us win next May:

Every time someone claims that we can't afford to tackle the climate crisis, remind them that the top 2% have more wealth than half of Scotland's population combined.

The money is there, its just being hoarded by a greedy few.

BBC correctly observing that the First Minister has ditched Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf's opposition to the proposed Rosebank oil field.

As my repeated questioning yesterday confirmed, the Scottish Government has sadly retreated on climate action.

You can see why a loyal Scottish Labour man like Dunc would gloss over the latest actual Scotland-only polls though 🥀

UK: GPEW and SGP (GREENS-G/EFA) have reached 18% in today's Find Out Now poll. That is the highest that the two parties have ever polled in national parliament polling since being founded in 1990.

The same poll shows governing centre-left Labour (LAB-S&D) falling to fourth place with 15%.

The Scottish Greens stand with the dozens of workers sacked by @rockstargames.com for exercising their right to organise with @gameworkers.co.uk @iwgbunion.bsky.social

Reinstate them now, then get around the table & give your staff the pay & conditions they deserve for making you billions.

He’s going to have to be clear on this. The boiling of the planet is not an insignificant issue for a decent chunk of the electorate. Can’t go into May dancing around it.
Does the Scottish Government support or oppose the proposed Rosebank oil field?

Nicola Sturgeon & Humza Yousaf accepted the climate science and opposed it, but I just asked John Swinney twice what his position was and got no clear answer. A sad retreat on climate commitments.

If some of this sounds familiar, that's no surprise. If you want more of it in Scotland, join the party that's been making it happen.

Tax reform on landholdings is desperately needed. We need to bring poorly managed and owned land in urban and rural Scotland back into productive use for public benefit. This must be dealt with in the next parliament. Clear, strong arguments from @ross-greer.bsky.social during LR Bill debate tonight
