Lynx were driven to extinction in Scotland centuries ago, but we can bring them back!

@ariane-burgess.bsky.social is proposing that Ministers be legally required to begin reintroducing lynx to their former habitats. MSPs will vote on her proposal on Wednesday.

Nothing more humbling than being the portrait round of a student union pub quiz 💀

Thanks to the guys who accurately captured how ripped I am these days though...

We are bringing hope back to Scottish politics. That's why our polling is climbing and we're now neck & neck with Labour here and across the UK.

The super-rich will throw everything they've got at stopping us though. Join our movement and help us win next May:

Every time someone claims that we can't afford to tackle the climate crisis, remind them that the top 2% have more wealth than half of Scotland's population combined.

The money is there, its just being hoarded by a greedy few.

Help us take it back: members.greens.scot/join

This mf reading janky subsamples like they're Gospel 🤣

You can see why a loyal Scottish Labour man like Dunc would gloss over the latest actual Scotland-only polls though 🥀

The Scottish Greens stand with the dozens of workers sacked by @rockstargames.com for exercising their right to organise with @gameworkers.co.uk @iwgbunion.bsky.social

Reinstate them now, then get around the table & give your staff the pay & conditions they deserve for making you billions.

Our energy system is rigged in favour of a handful of private companies and their shareholders.

To tackle the huge levels of fuel poverty in Scotland, we need more energy in the hands of the people, whether that's public, community or individual (micro-renewables like household solar) ownership.

Over 1,000 people have joined the Scottish Greens in the last 30 days!

We're not far off 9,000 members in total now. Make this puppy's day and join our movement 👇

Lots of people are angry - and they have every right to be.

The chancers in Reform want that anger directed at refugees and other vulnerable groups, not the greedy landlords, tax avoiders and billionaires actually making life so difficult for everyone else.

Badge on and everything crossed for @catherinegalway.bsky.social

President Higgins is one of the most impressive people I've had the honour of meeting. I've no doubt the close relationship he helped foster between Scotland and Ireland would thrive under a President Connolly

The @devolvedelections.bsky.social seat projector translates this into a record sixteen Green MSPs, double our previous record of eight in 2021!

Turns out people really like it when you tax the rich and use it to deliver policies like free bus travel for young folk and ending peak rail fares.

📺 Catch me on STV at 10.40pm.

It's @scottishgreens.org conference this weekend and we're going into it in fine form. Our message of hope, that Scotland can be a fairer and greener place, is striking a chord.

I was delighted to nominate Ali Hussain from the Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society (representing Scotland's Shia Muslim community) as Parliament's Time for Reflection speaker this week.

We then had a chance to catch up about the society's great work, like their blood donation drive & interfaith projects

Scotland generates huge amounts of cheap, clean electricity from renewables. That isn't reflected in our bills though, because the UK's energy system is rigged in favour of the corporations who control it, not the people who need it.

We will not stop until the genocide is ended, the occupation is lifted and Palestine is free.

Labour can crack down on the right to protest, but they can never wash away their complicity in these crimes.

It wasn't asylum seekers who increased anyone's rent or energy bills, the rich did that.

It's me, I'm the 'Scottish Leftist' your granny warned you about 😲

Also, 'The Telegraph can reveal' is an interesting way to describe a story first published by @severincarrell.bsky.social in the Guardian in April.
