How can #AI dramatically reduce the vast energy consumption of our buildings, cutting costs, emissions, and grid instability all at once?

Danish engineering powerhouse Danfoss, in partnership with AWS, is showing us the way.

What does #AI feel like? Watch this from the BBC in 1984.

"We sacrifice personal warmth and general understanding of one another for this increased efficiency."

Dear Americans. Cracker Barrel means very little to anyone else in the world. But if it did, the new logo is far more sensible.

Was gonna mark the England win with an emoji. And the sheer Brass involved in Lucy Bronze playing through the tournament with a broken leg (!).

But there's no female lion emoji.

You can almost hear it.
Every country is warming.

Every country is experiencing more extreme weather events because of climate change, mainly caused by burning fossil fuels. www.ShowYourStripes.info

Time to #ShowYourStripes and start climate conversations to prompt actions to reduce emissions, personally & collectively.

Trying to use AI to help me write feature articles seems to be robbing me of my ability to write feature articles.

Today I learned that the first female MP in the UK was American. And that we need to thank her for the fact 14 year olds can no longer legally get trashed down the pub with their little mates.

Filled out a submission for a UK government innovation grant today. Part of the requirement was to complete a survey for DEI purposes. And you know what?

That was just fine.

Famously climate-denying anti-science crank Graham Stringer given a completely free ride on @lbc.co.uk just now. Where's the journalism, Marr?

So, let me get this right. The existence of the law is now 'judicial tyranny'? And half of America is agreeing with this?

This is so dangerous.

A while ago, I quit Twitter after creating a clean account to see what the unvarnished algorithm would choose to show me. Obviously, it was appalling. It's only got worse, especially since Trump rampaged back into the White House and started empowering idiots everywhere while breaking everything.
Well, here I am. Gonna give this place a shot. Thanks for poking me in the right direction, @oggy72.bsky.social. To get things started, I'll stick my last Xitter thread here as a reminder. Mainly for me...
