In "Fateful Triangle", Noam Chomsky quotes Moshe Dayan suggesting in 1967 that Israel should tell the Palestinian refugees in the newly occupied territories, "we have no solution, you shall continue to live like dogs, and whoever wishes may leave, and we will see where this process leads."
That's the model: driving the population into an refugee camp - over a shrinking territory - with the aim of making their lives so miserable that sooner or later, in one or another, they'll leave for somewhere else.

Im israelischen Fernsehen sagt Volker Beck, seine Aufgabe, Israel zu verteidigen, werde schwieriger. Er kritisiert dabei nicht Israels Vorgehen, sondern Äußerungen von Regierungsmitgliedern. Für ihn scheint nicht Vertreibung und Aushungerung an sich das Problem zu sein, sondern das Sprechen darüber.

Seit Januar 2024 gab es mehr als 50 Mahnwachen von 'Israelis für Frieden' in Berlin– ohne Nationalflaggen, ohne Billigung politischer Gewalt. Alle waren eingeladen, doch nur sehr wenige kamen. Wer behauptet, er hätte gerne "friedlich" gegen den Krieg protestiert, wenn er nur gekonnt hätte, lügt.
