If the last three days demonstrate one thing, it's that the right (via the media) controls the narrative in this country.

Or, as Matt Golding puts it:

I know they're damned if they do and damned if they don't but the political posturing at Bondi is making me nauseous. Hanson, who's done more to stoke the hatred and division which has led us here than anyone, knows nothing more than slogans, stunts and stupidity. What an awful, awful person.

This is making Jewish Australians less safe.

Forcing black and white choices on the public will create division.

If the well being of Jewish Australians is the aim, appealing to our egalitarian nature will be more effective than lying to us and trying to drag us into conflict.

Australians know the difference between Jewish people and Israel.

In normal circumstances most Australians think about people being Jewish as much as they think about people being Presbyterian, it’s mostly of little interest.

Lobbyists are blurring these lines and bullying politicians.

We do everyone in our community - but esp Jewish Australians - a great & now clearly dangerous dis-service by not recognising the real contribution that the actions of the Netanyahu Govt has on these tragic events

Surely we owe it to everyone to be honest here #auspol

Agree Matt -
Shattered for the Jewish community & innocent, peaceful Muslim’s especially the women & girls who choose to wear traditional dress….these terrorists just made them less safe too- easy (and wrong) targets for the angry mob who want any excuse to punish rather than sue for peace.

The ruling in Trump v US that made Presidents immune to prosecution for official duties *was* the coup. Everything that came after was consequence.

The coup happened during Biden's term, and was executed by the Supreme Court.

This is just 47 panicking about consequences.

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!
