Just hoping to see our planet survive and thrive for every generation that is still yet to come. What we have today is built on everyone from the past, let's build on that through our actions TODAY.
How's 'self-regulation' going with the current possibilities of corporately advertised generative AI material?
What about the continued self-inflating and reinforcing affirmations by responses, regardless of the nature of the prompt?

AI in the hands of tech-oligarchs serves the few, not the many

In the western world this is & will be the conservative political playbook to gain power & enact their reforms.

Utter disregard to the low-middle class, shift wealth and power further to the few, restrict and discredit science, research & the environment.

Is this not how empires crumple?

War, poverty, climate change, environmental destruction & food insecurity.

A limited number of basic human challenges & needs that could be tackled today.

Instead the free market decides that a few thousand individuals on our planet reserve the right through their ‘success’ to own such luxuries.

Found myself captured again by Webb’s First Deep Field image today.

In a time of escalating division across our planet, taking time to appreciate space, becoming lost in the time & scale of it all, provides an odd sense of comfort, sadness & clarity.

So much of the universe we have yet corrupted.

Incredible video as always from DDN.

The BBC lack transparency & objectivity in their reporting of the genocide in Gaza.

The corruption of the mainstream media has been eroded on par with that of our main political parties.

Complacency in these critical points of history must be exposed.

Embarrassed to be an Australian today.
Destruction of 50,000 years of heritage and an estimated 4.3 billion tonnes of CO2e into the atmosphere, all for corporate greed.
This is all compounded by an estimated $215 billion in royalties that the Australian public misses out on.

Sad day for Australians, humanity and our planet.

A good day to be a corporate fossil fuel corporation.

Labor already setting the bar incredibly low for their new term.

Climate and Environmental action is beyond CRITICAL.
In approving Woodside's North West Shelf gas export plant extension, the Government has put big gas ahead of Australians.

“This expansion will do vast damage and deliver almost no benefit to Australia or Australians," said @rodcampbell.bsky.social #climate #auspol

If Labor fail to act and act swiftly, we will loose such a beautiful national icon.

Humanity hunted the unique giant marsupials of the land to extinction thousands of years ago under some reports.

The greater public outcry for this extinction will come, yet it will be too late.

Approving this would have emissions equivalent to opening 12 large new coal power stations for 50 years.

It would make a mockery of all @AustralianLabor renewables and climate policies.
Approving this would be the greatest giveaway of Australia’s natural resources ever.

$200 billion +of Australia’s gas given royalty free to Woodside.

It is against Australia’s national interest.

A pretty shameless attempt to get the disgruntled and uneducated youth vote. Might work but if it isn’t a clearer example of how the Liberals have no plan for really supporting people today let alone future generations.
