Having a hard time deciding if I’m going to the trans visibility demonstration or doing self care today. I really want to go, but I hurt everywhere and don’t want to burnout or make my body rebel further.

I find very little more frustrating than sitting in a room of white ppl trying to reinvent the wheel when BIPOC mutual aid networks have existed for ages and need funding.

Work was rough. Family stuff is rough. Texas and the US are rough. But today marks 5 months sober, and we’re sitting down to watch a movie to distract me from this dumpster fire long enough to make it 5 months and 1 day.

Having BPD is wild. Yesterday, I lost an hour to disassociating during anger and grief after discovering my bike stolen. Today, I clung to my partner in the frozen foods aisle to stay upright while being overwhelmed with feeling loved when he insisted on buying food I’ll eat. The whiplash of it all!

As a not-baby-leftist, I hate reading theory - it often feels old, clunky and that it expects everyone has 6 college degrees. Some of the fiction on this list helped push me even further left in the last two decades. I can’t wait to try some of the nonfiction. 💕

As a not-baby-leftist, I hate reading theory - it often feels old, clunky and that it expects everyone has 6 college degrees. Some of the fiction on this list helped push me even further left in the last two decades. I can’t wait to try some of the nonfiction. 💕
