Today I am particularly thinking of two great uncles who fell in the Great War. Private Richard Hildreth, 23rd Middlesex Regiment and Serjeant James Vokes, 5th Yorkshire Regiment. And of course all others who served.

Some of my unique commissioned paintings are inspired by an object, others by a story, and some on what little is known to help bring a person to life. All of them are crafted with love and care.

If you’re interested in commissioning your own piece why not get in touch? #ww1 #ww2 #illustration
