Antibiotic stewardship programs need dedicated funding to be effective. Hospital ASPs with funding & resources use less fluoroquinolones, anti-pseudomonal agents, and clindamycin.

For all the enthusiasm about using “Epic secure chat” it’s creating yet another avenue for miscommunication and medication errors There is a role for it but I am unsure if we know what that should be yet.
