Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

True story!
In the last 6 months @kimberlyhardync.bsky.social has had more town halls than Rouzer has in the last 6 years.
Has anyone seen David Rouzer? If so post where you saw him. Maybe in the grocery store or pumping gas for his car??

In the 1960s, local civil rights activists had to do a similar campaign to get the Fayetteville, NC Harris Teeter to hire Black cashiers. Except what they did was fill up their grocery carts and then abandon the carts when they didn't see a Black cashier. It worked!
I’m doing research for a project and found out about the “don’t buy where you can’t work” movement during the depression, where Black people boycotted and picketed places that wouldn’t hire us. Shout out to everyone who’s not going back to Target!

Hard fought quiz bowl matches between Terry Sanford and Pinecrest today. Proud of my TSHS Bulldogs for closing a 100-point deficit with a 200-90 run to win that second match by a whisker. Now 6-0 in NCASA AA play. #BattleOfTheSandhills

Chapter 12 bankruptcy protections only cover $12.5M worth of debt. That's not gonna mean anything to Bill Gates.

The people who benefit from expanded chapter 12 bankruptcy protections are your rank-and-file, 6- & low-7 digit net worth, LOCAL multimillionaires.

For the past year, the UNC System Faculty Assembly has been talking about how to define academic freedom. While it's mentioned in UNC Code, it isn't as spelled-out as the policies on free speech or political activity. I particularly like the idea of it being used in trainings BEFORE incidents occur.
UNC System Faculty Seek to Define ‘Academic Freedom’
Amid growing concern about academic freedom, a faculty group wants UNC officials to be more precise about what activities are protected.

So let's talk about well-off people who talk about how much they respect manual labor... because talk is cheaper than paying people right.
